Launched my 550 for the first time

Had a similar experience last week during our test drive of a brand new 2007 550i with sports package. We were in a back road somewhere in south barringtion, and our SA told me to stop the car right before this S-curve and then a medium-right turn. He instructed me to put the car into D/S mode and then proceeded to go over the rules. This was exactely what he told me "Jose, no brakes....just gas." I proceeded to hit the gas pedal to the point just before kick-down mode (cause it will be someone else's car someday) and before you know it, I was approaching the S-cure at about 60. There was plenty of grip through the bends, and I felt I could have gone faster.
I can't wait until I get the 550i now....it's gonna be a long 2 months!

What a feeling eh? To save the clutch system, I get my rush on the freeway by dropping two gears down to 4th at 60mph and stand on the gas...120 comes really fast!!!!!!![b]

My Ride: 2007 Titanium Gray 550i, with sport, nav, HUD, Logic7, sat radio, cold weather, rear side airbags, rear seat heaters, and it goes like a bat outta hell!
OK.....you guys are killing me, lol!! Now knock it off!! Don't you know it's hard enought to wait without reading this stuff??

I came from an e46 M3 which was quite a rush, but didn't have the combination of power and luxury of the 550. I just love how this huge V8 revs; it frankly is impossible to keep to break-in RPMs when in DS mode.

I am sure i won't be able to sleep 3 days before i get my 550... I even try to convince my gf to go with me to the port ...
