My Ride: 545i SMG with Limited Slip Differential
Model Year: 2005
Default

I've 545i SMG and I sometimes use the LC.
Until now I've done about 20 starts, so, how many times can I use it again before the maintenance led will light up ?
Is the number of Launch - controlled starts stored somehow in the ECU?
How long is my clutch going to last?
Thanks!

Supposedly the computer tracks the number of times Accelleration Assist is used. I'm not entirely sure that it's not just a rumor.
Anyhoo, I've used it but not that much.
Once the tires wear a little, all that "AA" achieves for me is a right rear smoke show. Needless to say, it doesn't help accelleration at that point. It's been probably 9 months or more since I've tried it.
