do we have launch control in the 545i sport 6MT? I cant never pass 5000 rpm when i rev at a stand still but when i launch the car, i usually launch it at 4000 rpm not and 5K. I was wondering if I floored it with DSC and DTC off and dropped the clutch, what would happen. Probably smoke the tires nicely. Still havent tried yet. So, who tried?

It seems you drive on D.... did you try DS or M? those usually go near redline (6500 rpm).... if you did, then your car needs to check.

If you have a manual tranny, then YOU are the launch control. Seems strange that you can't bring the rpms over 5k. Are you stepping on the clutch with the shifter in 1st or are you just revving in the neutral gate?

Launch control, or Acceleration Assist as its stated in the Owners manual, is for SMG cars only and really only replicates what you can already do in a manual tranny car.

Brabus, in N i'm not able to pass 5k as you.
(Isn't it enough for you ?)

Acceleration Assist on SMG cars starts at no more than 3k rpm.
