I have 2006.2, so I was just curious. I would like to know the differences... It would be neat if they just offered a subscription that updated the DVD's as they came out. The Jeppesen updates for the various airplanes I fly come out on a fairly reg. basis...

I went to Navteq's Website and figured out the answer to my own question. If you get to the detailed product screen it shows the details of the update changes.... None in my area, but it bugs me that I don't have the latest version....

OK, let me jump on the ignorance bandwagon! I'll be getting my new 550 w/ Nav soon. How do you tell if you have 2007.2 or any other version? Is it printed on the disc or does it pop up on the screen as part of the boot up process? Thanks in advance for helping a Nav rookie!

It's printed on the disc.... You'll get at least the one we're talking about, so don't worry about it. If you get something newer than 2007.2, then please let everyone know...

I took delivery of my car 2 weeks ago and the DVD that came with the car for the NAV was version 2007.2. I believe it's the most updated version here in the US.
