CAn you turn this feature on an off. I can see that it would be annoying in some situations.?

 

You can turn it on or off via a steering wheel button. I leave it on all the time and it really doesn't get annoying. You learn to ignore it when you're actually awake and paying attention!

As an added benefit, you can get a nice little hand massage whenever you need one...
