Please guys, help me out here cause this is giving me a headache.
It's regarding the smaller headlights next to the Xenons (I don't know what they are called in BMW lingo).
It looks like they have a clear projection lens in front and I can clearly see a halogen bulb (H8?) and reflector deep inside but I cannot find out how in the h*ll they can be switched on!!?!
The lights I'm referring to are the one that the arrow are pointing at on the pic:
I have tried everything...I think!
I mean, whats the point of having lights that cannot be used..
cheers

The iner lights are fake, like in E92 as well. So, we don?t have halogen H7 lights after FL as it used to be in pre FL E60.

If I'm understanding you correctly, those are the "flash to pass" lights that come on when you pull back on the turn signal stalk...
They used to be flash to pass lights, but in LCI E60 they are just coronarings and nothing else. Flash to pass signal is given by xenon -lights. Exactly the same as in E92.

Hi, I was wondering the same as I was driving an E92 in January.

According to the spare parts list there is a H8/35W bulb in there.

Fake!? Ok, but why do BMW bother to mount a reflector and bulb then..??!

My Ride: 545i Mystic Blue/Black Leather Type 124 Wheels
They are the corering lights
You can try making one go on by starting the car, putting the light switch in A, turning the steeringwheel all the way in one direction ( you may also have to put that sides indicator on )
