Kragen/O'Reilly Auto Parts is currently running a buy one get one free deal on the 20-gallon treatment Chevron Techron Fuel Additive. No idea when it ends. Clerk said it was a nation-wide promotion.

I bought from Costco a box that contains 6 bottles and paid around ~$12 I think they still have this offer.

Even though I only fuel up at Chevron, I might still go and take advantage of this deal

I often play fill it the blanks with my 4 year old daughter. Sometimes, when we drive by a gas station, I said " Daddy's favorite gas station is_______? " You guessed it, she got it right every single time.

Anyways, I use the 20 ounce bottle at least every three months on my car for a full tank of gas. Honestly, I don't feel any difference (sorry for being a party pooper and not hype up the the product). Is the 91 octane good enough or should I just get a my fuel injectors cleaned by the dealer soon? My car has 70,600 miles, I am the original owner and have been using Chevron Techron 91 octane gas since the day I bought it with 5 miles.

Also, Is it normal for the idle needle to steadily "move up and down" about 1 millimeter or less at around 600 RPM?

I welcome, appreciate feedbacks from everyone and apologize if I hi-jacked this thread.

Have a great day!

I have seen the Chevron Techron fuel cleaner offered by Costco. My understanding is that the Costco version is similar to getting Chevron with Techron gas at their stations. But, the O'Reilly sale includes the "Concentrated Plus" version which is more "potent".

I really don't know how much better, if any, the "Plus" delivers. But, I use it atleast once a year.
