In my travels to Korea - I found that the most popular luxury car was BMW.
I saw a TON of e60's in Seoul - especially around the Kang Nam area in Seoul - but I found that the 7 series and S class outnumber 5 series and E class by a wide margin.

I think the reason why you have a huge Singaporean subforum is because most Singaporeans I know are bilingual - English and Mandarin.
Most Koreans I know aren't....and this is an English language based forum...

You're absolutely right about the number of E60s in the Kangnam area of Seoul. There's just too much money in that neighborhood. The stalwarts will buy either a S-Class or a 7 Series. But due to the fact that a completely new 7 Series will be launched at the end of the year, those who want to buy a big luxury car are all buying S-Classes... Even though I'm not a big MB fan, I must admit that I like the look of the new S-Class! Especially the S600. The most popular 5 Series is probably the 525i... BMW Korea sold a boat load of them pre-LCI. Now the best selling model is the 528i and the 520i that's been rebadged as a 528i.

One of the reasons why I expanded the post to all Koreans was the fact that Koreans residing in Korea don't have the English skills to really be active here. However, I saw some posts made by Korean residents on the forum. Like the ones put up by 'hoon' regarding the retrofit of SAT to LCI E60s...

I'm really hoping that Korean residents will get involved (even modestly) at some point and share knowledge and info. Perhaps even arrange meets.

Good idea Seoulman. I always wondered if there were any other Koreans other than myself, Joe, and KC Girl, on this forum. It looks like there's a whopping 6 members! K-town is littered with e60s...where's everybody else at?

Regarding E60'ers/English issue, it's the same in Taiwan as well. Tons of E60's all over the place but there are like a total of 5-6 Taiwanese that I know of on this board and most aren't that active it seems.

On another note, I think I've finally gotten angry over Quad-M's disappearance with my money. Up to now, I've been pretty mellow about it but I think it's finally hit me today.
