Ah... here it's like this:

They water-cut a strip from wherever to wherever to put in pipes or fix em. And then they'll pile the asphalt up allover it creating an "M' shaped concave all around it... Imagine coming across this when you're going 80.. heheh
Same in Korea. Except they don't water cut it. They use a pile driver to dig it up fix whatever they need to fix and do a crappy patch job! Then a couple of months later, they'll dig up a different portion to fix something else. Within a year, the road looks like a 4x4 off-road course!

Same as here. some areas are dug up, fixed, and dug up like 4-5 times a MONTH!!! Certain parts of the roads... I should be driving a 4X4!!! It's about the same or worse than roads in Seoul... I'd put the road quality around the same as SeongNam or Kyonggido...

I was seriously thinking of getting a Hyundai Veracruz SUV. Makes more sense for the road conditions, but it's no BMW!

They have the X5 but it's nearly US$100k... The Veracruz is half the price...

Of all the Hyundai cars, the Veracruz is the only one that I probably don't have serious complaints about. There is the front end that doesn't really turn my crank, but overall, it's decent SUV.

Yes they are! But the bills to replace bent rims are calling yours! I'll just ask the wheel shop to send all invoices for replacement wheels to you!
