This is what happens when car manufacturers gouge consumers in the home market to subsidize car prices in other countries!

Would you pay US$100,000 for this???

A Korean car company owned by China?s Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation thinks Koreans will (and idiotic Koreans have!).

Chairman? Wasn't that put out by Ssangyong years ago? I remember a friend of mine bought one here saying it was just as good as a MB but a bit cheaper -- I asked him how much cheaper and he said 8%... LOL

This is the new and improved Chairman W!

The older Chairman is based upon the really old Merceceds Benz W124 E-Class. That was a good car in 1985 when it came out. The key phrase being "in 1985"... it is now 2008. The car design is now nearly 25 years old.

The new Chairman W has a transmission from a W140 S-Class... a car that is now nearly 20 years old! New and improved? Perhaps old and decrepit is a better description! This US$100K Korean-Chinese luxo-barge has decadent appointments such as wood grain plastic interior trim! Wow!

I thought my company provided Genesis was bad!

Spend a US$100K on this car? Anyone who does needs his head examined!

I haven't seen those wheels on an E60 before. I did some searching on the web to see if BMW made/sold wheels like that and I found nothing.

You can try checking:

http://crass.on.ru/bmw/wheels/

This site has all the BMW OEM wheels.

As for the BBS AIR (NOT!) ll CYs...

If you like them, get them. Don't worry about the weight. I think wheel strength is more important in real world driving.
