hey i got a couple questions for you guys. i already ordered koni yellow sport adjustable shocks. couple questions about those, it says they are "adjustable" what is it that is changed when adjusting? is ride height adujustable???

on to the next topic. the springs. i have not yet ordered the springs. i am looking at either h&r sport or race. my car has sport suspension and i was wondering on how much of a drop i would get from each spring (race and sport) when paired up with koni yellow sports.

also last but not least, is there anything i need to worry about running this setup? i read somewhere that i would need bumb stops installed to the shocks. but ither people say that it is not neccsssary. thanks guys!

The stiffness on Koni sport shocks is adjustable, not the height. Koni recommends starting with the least stiff setting. Great shocks.

The H&R race springs are very stiff and will lower the chassis more than the sports. The tires may rub. The car will look slammed. They are recommended for dedicated track cars not daily drivers. Sport springs are about as low and stiff as most daily drivers can tolerate. Another option, Eibach springs, give you lowering without much increase in stiffness.

Another consideration is that either sport or race springs will require an alignment to compensate for the change in chassis height, but the race springs distort suspension geometry so much that they will also require camber plates for the alignment. These are usually not needed for the sport springs.
