Got Eibach Pro Springs on my non-sport stock shocks....
|
I dunno. I was gonna get the H&R Sport springs on my xi and having nothing else on the suspension modded. I hope that was right.
|
I would probably go with the Eibach Prokit and stock shocks, reasonable lowering (1.2") and still be able to enter a driveway without scraping. And when you keep the stock shocks it won't hurt the resale value (unless you lease, in which case why waste the money on mods - the car isn't yours)
|
How many miles do you have on your current shocks? If its not too much <10K - 15K I'd say its ok. If its more you may want to combine them with some koni shocks.
Have you looked into full suspension such as KW's or Billsteins? |
I went with Eibach Prokit with stock sports suspension. I made the swap with about 500 miles on the car. The drop is minimal. The ride is just right.
This is the current look with 20" wheels. http://forums.e60.net/uploads/124079...030_828625.jpg |
Member salaki has H&R sport with OEM sport struts.
The drop looks great and the ride wasn't bad. |

The drop looks great and the ride wasn't bad. I got H&R sport springs on stock sport shocks. Car is smooth yet aggressive, & corners like a beast. I personally like the H&R sports more than the Eibachs since I get a little bit more of a drop which I think is more noticeably tasteful. I test drove a stock 530i the other day with run flat tires and hit a few bumps... I got to say my car rides WAYYY smoother... Must be those run flat tires  |

Not sure about the offset....think it might be one of those that is "secret" or not disclosed by the manufacturer (Asanti). http://forums.e60.net/uploads/124270...030_603347.jpg http://forums.e60.net/uploads/124079...030_426319.jpg |
