The sparks coming out of the EVO's pipes is carbon buildup on the pistons and combustion chamber. When you really push an engine these particles get blown out and glow white hot. He probably had an aftermarket exhaust because OEM exhaust systems are spark arrestor and you won't see a lot out of them.

Macfly,

The TT on the i6 is really something else. I had a 335i driver fly by me at 130 mph after I had a head start but accelerated at about at a constant 4500 rpm in 5th and 6th gear. I'm sure he/she was screaming at redline.

A buddy was driving me around in an EVO X the other day. Fun cars....

On these cars, flames can be produced simply by an exhaust with test pipes (meaning no cats) along with no resonators.

The tailgating was uncalled for, but as for the ricer fly-by, well you did blow by him at a high rate of speed after he was far ahead of you. Hate to say it, but that's the definition of a "ricer flyby."

ok, you obviously do not know TRUE definition of a "ricer flyby".

he downshifted and tried to get a reaction out of me, and he sure did...unfortunately for him. but he was obviously NOT exiting and slowing down when i flew by him, see the difference? when he flew pass me, i was slowing down to 30-40 mph to exit....see the difference?

hate to say it, but you obviously have a misunderstanding of what a "ricer flyby" really means.

Relax............. breathe. No one got hurt. no one was on the road, and it wasn't on a dangerous curvy mountain road. .....

I don't wish to make this too serious, but since we're on the topic.

A ricer flyby by my understanding is speeding past someone at a high rate of speed after they are already ahead of you and stopped accelerating.

with him in front of me by at least 5 cars, i floor it.......i pass him at 130mph and he seemed as if he was standing still!
I understand that you were slowing down the 2nd time around, but it's the same thing in my book. But what do I know, maybe I am "misunderstanding" things.

Oh and it isn't a kill if you wish to get specific about things. Fly by a slower moving car at a 100+ and it doesn't matter if you're driving a M5, it will prove difficult to catch up. A "kill" denotes somewhat of an even start, with one car clearly pulling ahead. That doesn't look to be the case here.
