Walnut's my hometown. I grew up there.

Thanks for sharing the kill story. What part of the 60 did this take place?

Nice story, particularly with the signature (and unbelievably lame) ricer fly-by at the end. Is there anything lamer in the automotive world than these ricer fly-bys?

Those EVOs are great cars, but they shine at the sub 100 mph level, anything over and they have no chance against anything from Germany.

ya, i suppose he was tryin' to save face with his girl. and i forgot to mention, he did all of this with his girl in the passenger seat!!

the only thing he did that remotely enlightened me was the "fire show"! seriously have never seen that on a sreet car!

I just ordered a EVO X last month, will come with 291PS stock and a Vishnu Upgrade to 396PS, I think it can basically smoke anything on the road....but its never as nice top notch as a bimmer, but for us third worlders, this is the fastest you can get by paying the minimum, EVOX with Vishnu upgrade costed me $100k but that of course with 138% duty and Vishnu upgrade........

Bologna! Seriously, although there are some of us that do it, and the fact that it is fun, for safety and legality keep it on the track.

The problem in the US is they closed almost all of the tracks. On Long Island I used to race a 3 mile road course called Bridgehampton Raceway, beautiful sweeping turns, changes in elevation, fantastic views of the Peconic Bay- Now its a golf course. Westhampton Raceway was a drag strip- now retail and residential. Islip Speedway and Freeport Speedway are now gone, I think both to industrial parks. There is one raceway still open, Riverhead Raceway which is a small oval and figure eight- nice if you want to enter a demolision derby with your E60. So out of five raceways, only one left and its useless for anything but crashing.
Racing is an American heritage so if you remove the racetracks, you move the races to the streets.
