Call your BMW dealer. I have had smart repairs done on some scratches and I had a big scrape on the bumper repaired by BMW (or BMWs bodywork people).

Only cost ?60.

ive seen worse, but still its a very unnecessary act. seriously when something like that happens, wheres the morality of respecting someone else's belongings. really sorry to hear about that.

Damn, thats bad luck.

I have a similar scratch on my right door but its at the bottom and my car is silver so it aint as visible. I dont intend spending on an entire repainting of the door.

Can someone suggest a good scratch removing compound? I believe there is one by a company called Formula1? I tired using another light rubbing compound but it didnt help much.

for our overseas friends, that's approx $950

As i said, find a decent detailer in your area and they should remove 80% to 90% of the defects for you and will only cost you around 70 -80 quid.
