OK...what's the trick to opening the trunk w/ the key fob and NOT setting off the car's alarm?

I'm batting 50/50 in trying to open it w/o setting off the alarm...

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

And, if it does not work, then try counting to 1, 2, 2.5.

Are you sure you don't have to stand on one foot while holding your breath too??? I'm never sure if the alarm will sound or not. This system could be better

ROFL

I've had the same experience. I usually unlock all the doors [click door unlock twice] and open the trunk manually. Otherwise, the trunk button on the key fob works better when all the doors are locked.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one standing in a public parking lot, car siren screaming, pretending that I'm driving the YUGO next to the BMW!
