One of the keys will now only work if very close to the car and I look like a mad man pointing the key at the car from a few feet pressing the unlock button like mad! lol

Did a quick search and looks like it will be need to be a new key, but can the rechargable battery be replaced?

having similar issues myself. My lock button seeems to work OK but the unlock has to be in exactly the right position and right on top of the car. Key won't work at all in cold weather but works better when it's warm. Tagging along for some insight as well.

Is this a key that you use often????

I am told that you cannot change the batteries in the keys themselves, that they charge while in the ignition. Its recommended that you use all keys during the course of the year to keep them charged. Not sure if thats the case here, but maybe could be the culprit.

yea its the main key and your right you should rotate them, luckily or unluckily my wife and I have a key each and both drive the car so both keys will be charged...

Its just developed the issue and from what Ive read it cant be replaced... Im sure it can be, If the dealer will not do it under warrenty I may be tempted to open the dam thing and investigate if it can be unsodered and have a replacement put in...

Anyone opened up the key, any pictures? its the diamond type..

Seems I didn't try far enough with the other key as it doesn't respond to either key if Im not near to the car.

Seems its a receiver issue... will need to get it booked into a stealers hopefully the warrenty will cover this....
