No Food - No Drink, but no smoking (especially in traffic) would result in severe collateral damage. My car and I will smoke if I choose, partly because of all the people trying to get me to quit. I hate the anti-smoking Nazi's and continue to smoke just for them. I just love it when some fool over 300 lbs tells me smoking is unhealthy - huh? I smoke and can still run 5 miles, just like when I was in the military - so please keep your opinions and your breath to yourself. Besides, I never wanted to be old and decrepit anyway so who cares? The worst arguments I have ever heard are: "each cig takes 2 hours off your life" - who cares it's the last 2?!?!!? the best was: "each cig takes 2 years off your life" - we figured it out my mom would've lived to be 847 years old if she hadn't smoked, dammit!!
you sound like me, posted above yours

Hell yeah you can do what you like, it's your car. You set the rules. Same for me.
You are restricting the market for people you can sell your car to though. I've walked immediately away from countless cars that met my criteria (colour, price, extras, engine etc) because they stunk LF of smoke.
I don't think any of us here are telling anyone not to be smokers - just to not do it in our cars and devalue them.

I'm not a smoker, and do not allow smoking in my car. It's not a political issue or anything other than I do not like the smell. I have friends who smoke, and when we are in their cars, they smoke. My car, my rules. Their car, their rules. No biggie.

My Ride: 2006 525XI, Jet black on Dakota beige. Premium and winter packages. I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny.
2008 328I Convertible, Sapphire black on beige interior. Premium package, NAV, iPod adapter.
Retired: 2002 325I, Titanium silver on black leather. Premium package. Absolutely stock and proud of it.
I'm an occasional cigar smoker and no, I would not ever do it in the tight confines of any car. Having said that, if Megan Fox decided to ride in my car, she'd be allowed to smoke whatever she chooses; she could smoke sausages for all I care.

My Ride: 2004 Mystic Blue Metallic 545I
I smoke in mine but i don't allow anyone else to. I trust myself being careful enough to not burn it. Plus my job allows me to steam clean and deodorize my car whenever i want. So you would never be able to tell it was smoked in.
