My Ride: 2005 530 - Slushbox Auto, Nav and some other goodies..
Its a 2005 530. I'm looking forward to the MP3 playback and less random rebooting.

Let us know if MP3 works, your car's build date, and whether you have nav or not.

I'm not sure, I will have to find out how to check.

I have Nav - I will check on the production date and post the results when I get it back.
on a side note.. they gave me a 525xi. The steering felt a lot lighter at slower speeds and ride actually felt smoother then my 530.

My Ride: 2005 545i Titanium Silver/Black/Poplar: Steptronic, Sport, Cold Weather, Premium Sound, Comfort Seats, Sat Radio, NAV & Shades
I just got v20 on Tuesday. I noticed a big difference in the smoothness of the Steptronic. Active Steering feels much better too. I went from version 18 to 20. Also have MP3 now.

You didn't ask me my production date. Mine was built Feb 05. My service advisor told me that was 2 months prior to when MP3 should work. It did work though after the software update, but he told MP3 is an additional step on top of the update. Good thing I asked for it.

You are a month before me, I'd be curious to know if you get v20, if MP3 works for you.

I have been waiting for confirmation from people having pre-march, MY05 to see if mp3 is activated. I am not sure when I'll go in though. I might just wait till I have to put my summer shoes back on (late march) - that will save me a trip to the dealer.
