Thank you guys for your help with the bumper. Should I contact the owner of the shopping center, I assume they have an insurance policy.
To have rebar sticking out like that -- it's a hazard. What if someone fell on it?! They should do something about it and if not, lodge a complaint with the police (or whatever city dept that deals with things like this) about the hazard and get them into some hot water.... lol

My Ride: I have an 05 545i. It's a manual with a few options. This is my first BMW but I don't know how I'll ever be able to switch to something else.

Damn, sorry to hear that. I would definitely contact the shopping center and at least try to get some money out of it. The worst they can say is no.

But look on the bright side, it does give you a reason to upgrade

+1 I would contact the landlord and see if their insurance might cover your problem. Rebar sticking up like that is definitely a danger, to pedestrians as well as vehicles, and they would have some liability for what happened IMO. I used to manage some commercial properties so have some background with this type of stuff.

I've changed only the bulbs when I upgraded. There's a DIY for that below. How much more is damaged? Just the lense? May have to order that from Garry.

Sorry to hear that. You shouldve filed a police report just in case the landlord's insurance gives you any trouble for reimbursements.

Btw, my 2007 OEM front bumper will taken off when my new bumper comes through. Let me know if you're interested. Black sapphire metallic with PDC holes.

Good luck!
