Hey guys I have to bring my car into the dealership on thursday for service and what not and was wondering two things.. one-my driver's rear window has stopped working three times since I've bought the car and the dealership I went to said supposedly "bmwna" said it was the last time they would fix it because they blamed it on my tints, even though all the other windows have the same tint and nothing ever happened. Question is if I bring it to a different dealership this time which I am going to do, would they somehow know I brought it into.the other dealership 3 times and that "bmwna" said they wouldn't fix it no more? And two- I have the deluxe axis pads. Should I take them off and put the oem brake pads on so the dealership won't give me any hassle or say I'm voiding any warranty? Thanks in advance

I won't worry about the pads.

HAHAHAHAHAHA...........window tint causing that problem. I think the dealership is giving you a line of BS. There is hundred of thousands of BMW's on the road with window tint. I doubt BMW NA would say that to the dealership. Are they replacing the window motor each time or a switch?

I believe they said they changed the motor the second time but I doubt that because if they did, then why did it happen again..so who knows

Ist question, Yes they will know. The first thing dealer do is put your key in a little cup looking thing which is what they call a key reader. This gadget reads out all that was done to your car and what needs to be done.

I wouldn't worry about the window until it doesn't work again and they don't want to fix it. I would call customer service after that occurs and complain directly.
