I have the opposite view. Range Rovers have been built for 30 years and in that time have had 3 iterations. A classic doesn't need constant change for changes sake. The current model still has the best interior of any vehicle made ever at any price. Sit in a fully loaded one with a luxury interior and every other car interior seems inadequate afterwards.
Valid point, congrats on you order!

I'm off lease on my 2005 545i in June, so I've been debating on what to do. I love my E60 but it's nice to change things up for variety so I just ordered a Range Rover supercharged with every option (there is only one option ) from the factory. Since it takes 3.5 months to arrive and my deposit is refundable, I can always back out of the deal if something catches my eye. here is is...

My wife currently has a '06 Range Rover so I'm familiar with the 'ownership experience' which usually involves trips to the dealer every few months.
I like the interior of the new Rovers, especially the sports. One thing about them to note is that they have been having issues with the suspension collapsing. I think what would happen is the sensors in the wheel wells are suseptible to water damage so you could wash the car and then one side would fall to the ground. I do not know if they have fixed this issue but I would watch out for that. Otherwise you should enjoy it.

Especially the cheaper RR Sport. That thing looks phenomenal.

I'm a big Rover fan. Here's our Rover:
Nice One! But I bet you've not seen one of these. 2002 4.6 HSE Borrego Edition, only 100 made. My Girl.
Unfortunately the service is so dreadful that when they asked if I'd be interested in another Rover, I told them I'd rather limp from train to bus the rest of my life than give them another dime.

The truck is gorgeous but I think you should buy a 3rd car for when either of the 2 RR's are in the shop. It will most likely be quite often from what I hear

All the best

Without doubt one of the nicest looking SUV's on the road ............. but I really found it top heavy and very average from a handling POV.......... but it's only a car and they get replaced every few years so do it. Personally 2 in the family seems overkill why not try the Cayenne ??

I just can't get enthused about a Porsche SUV. Call me a purist.

why people don`t like Porsche Cayenne in US?
Where else you can get a SAV wich can reach a max top speed of 275kmph/172 mph?
