Just ordered/bought a 530

I just bought a 530 today. It still has the current engine but after I test drove the car it seemed quick enough plus I could not wait any longer 
. Good thing is that the car I wanted is actually being shipped to the dealers next weekend so I have less than a week to wait. The car is Orient Blue with gray leather. The options I added were Navigation, Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Steptronic, Adaptive Headlights, and Sat. Prep. I will post pictures when I get the car.

I also test drove the 545i and 530i. I thought the 530i had enough power and acceleration for my everyday commute and could not justify the extra $6k for the 545i. Also, I thought the 530i was a little more nimble and had sharper handling.

My Ride: 2005 530i 6speed
congrats. I too have the 530. I drive about 80 to 100 miles a day (I took US delivery on 12/9 and already have almost 8kmi). The 530 was a great blend of speed and economy for my commute.

Congrat. Orient blue and grey interior is perfect combination. i have
mystic blue and grey inter and still look good.
