My Ride: 2008 550i, Sport Package, Cold Weather Package, Nav, Jet Black, natural brown interior, automatic, Logic 7, ipod, lane departure warning.
I certainly hope your experience works out better than mine, but in the end, you'll be psyched...Placed order on 12/4/07, car was built week of 12/18, on vessel 12/24, in New Jersey port on 01/10/08, vessel tipped on 1/11. my ride was pronounced D-O-R. Dealer called me on 1/16 to deliver the news. Opted w/ only 550i w/ SP in their inventory and took delivery on 1/19 (expected delivery date of 535xi). The tracking threads on this forum are good, but bad because you realize that you turned into a crack adict...checking on your ride 200 x a day. See link below. It def kept me entertained for the six weeks of hell (as i recall them). Cheers, the car is def worth the wait.

Congrats - sounds like a nice one!! My wait was about 8 weeks from order to deliver. Don't count on the BMW Owner's Circle...their updates are generally quite a bit behind...my dealer was the best source for current order status. Your new 535i will most likely be built and ready to ship the 1st two weeks...takes a while to transport from Germany...good luck - my wait drove me NUTS

Can you guys tell me more about the M Sport package? I don't see anything on the bmwusa.com website for the 535.
Is that available only on custom order 535i's from any dealership? What is the package price? And does it look as good as the new 550i sport package kit?
