Is it Just Me, or are we all a bit nuts about our E60's ?
You are all correct that waiting for my car to arrive is just PURE AGONY ......... :'(
Anyway, to pass my time, I had been doing extensive research on what car care items I will order so I am ready when the 'little' one arrives.
Today, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered all my car care supplies, and triumphantly exclaimed to my wife that she is to be on the look out this week for the UPS guy !
She asked what for, and I told her that I had bought car care products for my new car ...........
With a puzzled looked she said the car wasnt due for another 4 - 6 weeks, why are you ordering them now ?
Well, I said, didnt we paint the kids rooms in advance of their arrival so when we brought them home, everything was ready for them..........
She looked, and in her usual Irish way told me to give my head a damn shake and get on with it.........its just a bloody car.......
WHAT !!!!!!
Hmmmm, maybe its just me....but I have to make sure all is ready for the big arrival !
Now, onto the garage.....so much to do, so little time...
Hopefully I am not the only "twisted one' out there !

The fellow who bought my set of 124 wheels and RFT tried to explain to my wife that guys concern with their cars' appearance is similar to a woman who breaks a nail. The world is not the same until it is put right again.

I get more attached to my car by the month. I actually enjoy washing and waxing and dressing the leather, etc. etc. It is a sickness, and there is no cure! My wife is thankful it is a car and not another woman.

How could we not get attached to the car? I mean, look at her, she's GORGEOUS and the fact that she gives us great ride and makes us look good... yeah, the other half is damn happy it's a car and not a woman!
I don't know about the rest of the world, but here in Australia, this car is very expensive (ok, it's not a ferrari, but it's harldy a toyota) and so why spend so much money on something you don't get maximum pleasure from?
