Everyday I drive to and from Milton Keynes to my home near Bedford.

Since my E60 problem began I'd seen only a couple of E60 out and about, that's in 8 months.

Today, on the way home from work, within the space of 5 minutes, I saw THREE E60's, not including mine. What's more thay were ALL black. Can you believe that!

The last one was a black 530d waiting to enter a roundabout while I passed. I smiled at the driver (a tiny Indian bloke), only he didn't smile back and seemed to take it as some kind to challenge to his masculinity, oh god, maybe he thought I fancied him


anyway, he puts his foot down and e60 530d disapperars at a rapid rate of knots towards the next roundabout - so much for fellow e60 drivers recognising good taste in each other!!

I wouldn't take offense if the guy didn't smile back. Maybe he thought you were trying to race him. For all you know, in his eyes you may have been the snobby owner for not keeping up

E60s are all over the place, including the 545i. When I see other cars, especially on the move, it makes me wish I got either black or silver gray.

 

you wont be thinking that when u're washing them every weekend.... my GF"s car is jet black.. it needs a wash every weekend.. my Ti Silver 3er.. can get by 2 weeks to 3 wks before a complete wash... but still needs weekly rim wash.................................

 

I already wash my car every week....well at least I use to.
