Just how do they justify this!!!

My Ride: dec 04 530dse ,auto, orient blue, grey leather, advanced aircon, sun protection glass,18'123 wheels on run flats, prof satnav,cd stacker.spare space saver, tracker, big smile
Got a badly cracked windscreen and rather than just use the insurance company directed screen replacement agent I rang my dealer and was quoted ?715 for a new screen fitted (approx $1230), I can't believe this is anything but a rip off. I'll be using autoglass and pay the ?50 excess on my insurance. :thumbsdown:

My Ride: 535D Sport Auto
I had to have a new screen after a stone cracked it. Went to RAC windscreens who replaced it without any fuss. Ok its not got BMW on the glass but it does keep the draught and rain out. 
Don't worry about OEM screens they're no different. Lifes too short!
