Hey all, ok so it's not brand new but it's new to me. Traded in a 520D M sport and haven't looked back . Amazing and effortless power in the mid range and doesn't seem too slow from start either.

So far the only 'negatives' are that I miss a manual and whilst the car is quick it doesn't feel that quick as it's pretty smooth in delivery - and then I look at the speedo!. Had reservations over the colour but love it in the flesh. Will get some photos later before it gets too dirty. Now I need to pay DMS a visit and get it tweaked!

As with most of these remapping companies, they come to you.

Congrats, with it being a Sept '05 car is it the push button starter model?

Rare to find one with a sunroof, I hunted high and low before finding mine

You wont look back once the DMS treatment has been done. It is the must have mod to this car!

Please post some piccies!

No, only a normal key. Last car was a Dec '05 and had push button. Seen a couple of differences but very subtle so far. Will get some piccies soon, out with work until next weekend so car will be dirty by then...go with my dirty big grin though!

Thanks all,

Urban

Out of interest, the DMS remap obviously gives more power but has any one had any negative effects with increased diesel noise? Also does it hammer the economy even further? Seem to be getting 32 on country roads and about 38 on motorway. Happy with that but dont want to loose too much economy. thanks again.

Fuel economy with the DMS is actually better....if you drive drive it in a similar way.

However use the extra power often and it will probably drop below that of pre-remap.

No ill side effects that Ive discovered yet after 20k miles, other than face-ache after the constant big grins this upgrade gives!
