Thanks guys! Unfortunately it is an auto. I've yet to drive a manual but I suppose its not a bad thing when I drive 100 miles a day for my summer job. I'm always keeping an eye open for an e30 to learn stick with, but that's a whole 'nother story.

Nice car! First mod get rid of those rims. I am not sure why BMW even bothered with those rims....the ugliest rims I have ever seen. Even my OEM rims from the 528i are better LOL.

I'll have to find some that look nice but don't break the bank. I'm 18 and have a job, but am by no means made of money lol. Anyway, the car has 133k miles on it. Sure it's a lot, but the previous owner, conveniently my grandfather, took fantastic mechanical care of it, so I'm not worried. He actually bought my mom's e500 and sold me his 525i.

I know these rims are ugly as sin. And of course they only used them for MY2004... Too bad rims are the more expensive mod on my list. I figured I'd run these tires down and then make 'em my winter set. That leaves shopping to be done for a summer set. I'll have to find some that look nice but don't break the bank. Congrats on your new ride. Damn I wish I had a 5 series when I was your age. That would have been awesome. ^ I agree with member 'aretradedorange' - wheels will change the look of your car.
You can find decent OEM wheel/tire sets here on the forum often for sale-if you don't want to break bank. Good luck!
