My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.

I use a phone which is too smart for its own good and it sometimes does silly things...

Hi,

I have just collected my car from the dealer and it has been updated to cip 23.01.

There is no difference in the operation of the bluetooth phone kit (i use a qtec 9100 - made by HTC).

The best way to handle this is to ask ahead of time for a copy of the "Measures Plan" or "Final Report" That will have the Target Data Status of the version you have, or if you got upgraded, the version you had and your new version in Target Data Status numbers. Then you come here to this handy dandy list (which your dealer may not bother to try to learn) and you translate it into PROGMAN (formerly CIP) versions.

Currently in US dealers have 23.01.00 but since no SIB released yet, if any one gets it, it would be nice to get the Target Data Status from one of these reports so the matrix can be kept up to date.
