Just got an '04 530i
#1
Hey guys,
I'm new to the Bimmer community, so please bear with me. I just got a 2004 530i with only 25k in the odometer. It's also manual transmission.
I've got no experience with stick shift, so....any advice for a newb?
Also, I was looking into customizing this ride. I didn't know there were already angel lights included in the stock model, but it was a good surprise. Any suggestions on where to start?

Welcome the forum.
First: That's a pretty rare find I would say. A 2004 with ONLY 25k miles on it? That's awesome !
Second: If you've got the monies, first thing I would do is get some new shoes, then work on the other stuff casually.
Third: If you're "new" to stick, then I wouldn't practice on a bimmer. I would think the damage done would be much more costly than damage done on a Ford or something like that.
Fourth: Are you currently in Hawaii? If so, MUST BE NICE !

Agreed, dont learn on the bm. Get yourself a beater bc its gonna be rough at first. My thoughts are exterior first, AE's, rims, kit, and you can get those thru trinity or umnitza here on the forums. Congrats on the low miles, my 550 i got 4 months ago only had 25k too, they're out there but they're hard to find.
