Most VAG cars you can do this with the key inserted in the drivers door lock hear in the USA, but I don't see it happening with the BMW's... That would be on big slot for the e60's unless they do it with the valet key , which kinda defeats the whole easy and quick to to part of it.

You do see it, as Rudy says if you have cars with comfort access then you just touch the lock, if you don't have comfort access then you have to use the physical key in the lock...like I do.

It came with March 2005 production, so not all E61's got it... But I agree, it's a great feature!

Unfortunately, you are probably correct. The number of bogus lawsuits (and number of attorneys --- sorry if anyone here is an attorney) in this country is absurd.
