I have a full warranty, I wouldn't drive a BMW without it!
+1, but only with a newer BMW. Give me a pre-2002 bimmer and I could drive it without warranty.
Most of the stuff that breaks on our cars is electronics. Engineering is pretty solid.

I've been driving since July without warranty, no issues yet...knock on wood. I also about 35K miles. I plan to decrease the recommended maintenance intervals by half for most stuff and just hope the electronics fend off the gremlins.

2005 530i Sport, no warranty, 52K currently. Fingers crossed. I love the car, love driving it. However, if it becomes a maintenance nightmare, it will go in a second.
