I hardly use the car, which is why I have decided that if I am ever going to own a V8 "gas guzzler", nows the time to have it and just REALLY enjoy the times when I do go out for a drive. (You are right about my timing with everything else going on here in the city -- better keep quite about it for a few more days! )

You're right, I have the 128's as 19s. They're currently my winter set-up, but I will be transferring my summer tyres over to the 128s. I'll either use my M172s as the winter rims or who knows what I'll do with them -- that's something to drive myself crazy with at the end of next summer!

Congratulations though! I'm sure you're gonna LOVE the car! Can't wait to see what it will look like with the 128s and the mirrors! Its gonna be so hot - they'll have to hold another summit on Global Warming just for your car!

i would use the 128's as winter and the 172's as summer.. the 172s are a bitch to clean, therefore making it easier in the summer months without losing fingers as a result of being frozen from getting in between those spokes.. 128's for winter seem easier to maintain and then the hard work on the 172's can go for the summer.. i know im rambling on, but i love both whees
and im female and overthinking right now..lol

obviously great minds think alike, because that's how I have it set-up now Only problem I have with this, is that the M172s look quite a bit smaller than the 128s even though they are both 19". There's something wrong about having your "favourite summer set-up" look smaller than the winter set-up and it takes me a couple of months to get used to having "smaller" rims on my car and means I'm a little unhappy with the look of the car for a while at the beginning of each summer --- ok, having just read that, it maybe doesn't make a lot of sense, but its still a stupid mind game problem to have. The obvious answer is buy 20s or another set of 128s!
