Its the same phone just a different name for the US market. I got my 8800 on Saturday. Not only are they really expensive but there is also a 2 month waiting list for them in Ireland. As expected it does not work with my BT, However a new software upgrade came out last week V4.78 so I will try and get this and see does it work.
