Default Judder at low revs 520D 2009

Hi all, my 520D auto has developed a judder at low Revs. Anything over 2000rpm seems ok and it only happens when the engine is warm. Plugged in diagnostics and no codes show. A DPF sensor code came up a few weeks back but since a reset it hasn’t come back on. Some people have suggested a gearbox service might be in order, has anyone else experienced this? The old bus is high mileage at 196k but has been very well looked after with full BMW history. It had been stood a few months , but started first time. Also no smoke at all from exhaust and all else seems ok. Normally drives very well. Any advice appreciated, cheers , Adam

I had something similar and it was due to a vacuum leak. And like your issue, it threw no codes. I guess the leak wasn't bad enough to throw any codes.
