Hi,

A couple of weeks ago, when setting off in the morning, I noticed my 520d pulling off very, very sluggishly.... As if the turbo was not working. A few moments later, everything returned to normal and I forgot about the issue. Now, it is back! The car seems to rev up ok, then seems to 'hang' around 2500/3000 rpm, again if there just is no power left....

Last night, I drove for about 15 mins in 4th gear down the motorway to see it it heled..... No joy!

Doesn't seem to be as bad in 1st gear... But affects all gears after that.

No smoke whatsoever, and no warning lights on the dash.... Very strange....

I have no code reeader yet, but am looking at an inpa one off ebay....

Any thoughts would be highly appreciated.

Hi,

The fault code reading is 43E2 - Throttle Actuator Valve - Open Circuit....

Does this mean that I have a faulty throttle body...???
