JD Power Sales Satisfaction Study
#2
It all has to do with the supercilious, arrogant, stuck up,contemptuous, attitudes of most of the staffing at the dealerships. The service departments are the worst offenders. They think we want something for nothing, rather than what we are entitled to under warranties and service agreements.
The sales staff are usually nice because we are purchasing and they work on commission.

My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
I think we need to keep in mind the buyers of these brands. I figure most people stepping into a Caddy are coming from a Chevy, so yes, they will will be MUCH happier with their new Cadillac than they were with their old Chevy. BMW buyers (and I am one) are more picky about their cars and typically have much more discerning tastes than some other buyers, same for MB. Jag has made huge strides in the design of their cars, but let's face facts =- wasn't the X-type basically a restyled Mondeo? Wasn't the S-Type a restyled Taurus? Let's be real here.
