BMW didn't put the jack pads in my E60, so I got them from ECS Tuning with the adapter.
Trunk jack now fits squarely on the jack lifting point.

I've used mine a few times when my runflats failed me. After some scary shifts while changing the tire I bought a small bottle jack I carry around with me at all times:

It's the smallest lift height I could find at the time but for some reason it doesn't fit under all 4 pads as the suspension sits lower on one side for some reason. At least I can start lifting the car with the scary supplied jack and start using the bottle jack before taking the wheels off. For some reason my supplied jack doesn't lock into the pads, it's somewhat flat. On the other hand, the ram on the bottle jack fits inside the center of the pads perfectly
