That jack in the trunk is freakin scary!!!!

I use it regularly to take off and clean my wheels and it actually works very well.

It works well, just make sure the rectangle piece is placed nicely into the rectangular hole on that edge of the car and jack it up. I've used it several times to change my summers to my winters.

I use my linemen for that, a couple of them lift a side of the car while the wheel is being replaced

I used to use the oem jack all the time its pretty safe. I now have a low profile jack because it works a lot faster.

BMW didn't put the jack pads in my E60, so I got them from ECS Tuning with the adapter.
Trunk jack now fits squarely on the jack lifting point.

I'm in the same boat as you...


not to jack this thread, but does anybody know why some of the e60s are missing jack pads?
