*Double post , don't know what section to put this in.*

I just hit the 145k mile mark , it still drives just how I first purchased it back in 2006 with 42k. Just had it detailed and took some pictures last night.. Nothing special but I want to keep it original as possible , for now.. lol

Who ever is telling you that has no idea what they are talking about. I am in the car business and have bought many european cars , bmw by far is the less problematic .. Especially the inline six motor , the v8 at times has expenses when it comes to internal maintenance such as water pumps or anything of that nature. I would take bmw over audi any day of the week. Audi is by far the worse german motor design.. Mercedez I have no problem with , I would not drive one unless I am 70 years old and tired of driving a sports car , I consider those the " german cadillacs "..

Don't tell me the people telling you this are VW and AUDI owners.. ahaha , those people have no idea what is in store for them. Like my ex fiance , i warned her about audi's when she was in the market .. she ended up buying a 2008 A4 , that car has been nothing but problems for her.. and I mean serious motor problems..

In all fairness it really comes down to the owner and how well they maintain the car , regardless of the make and model..

Nice job maintaining your beloved E60! One question, why is your license plate distorted in some pictures and not in others?
