Its a huge bother for me because I love rolling down the windows but hate wind blowing strong in my face....

Crack the rear windows abotu 2-3 inches and draft goes away. That's what I do and it seems to work for me.

It doesn't rain enough where I live to notice the water on the side windows but I wonder if the water is the result of air being redirected by the side view mirrors ? Does the passenger side exhibit the same effect? Have you replaced your windshield sometime in the past?

safetywork, sorry for the late response. yes, the front passenger window also exhibits the same behaviour but less because the water gets swept to the left. no i haven't replaced the windshield before. this is still a relatively new baby. anyhow, i'll try your suggestion by dropping the rear window down a bit but that might not help the rear passengers as they might get wet.

FYI, they've agreed to change the wiper motor. hopefully that will solve the issue.

out of curiosity, how often do you wash your car? Only reason I ask is that, I notice when cars are dirty, water likes to "stick" to the windows. If the car stays clean, the water should slide right off. You may have something on the window itself as well, try wiping the areas where the water sticks with vinegar then follow up with a water repellant like aquapel or rainx.

Trust me I'm 100% sure it is the wiper motor. It always is.
