hello

as the title says, the ipod is not recognised by the car
there is no bmw logo appearing on the screen

however when i connected a different ipod it worked fine
also the ipod works when connected either to a pc or a mercedes e class

does anyone have any hint of what may be wrong?

edit: the car is a 12/2003 model and up until now the ipod worked fine

Reset your iDrive and it should be fine. I also reset the iPod at times and it works....no logic to it but it happens not infrequently.
