In going back and forth trying to get an AUX Cable from Brendin, I've began to search around again for other options. Would something like this work with an 04 545i with CD Changer already in the glove box? All I'm looking to do is change from song to song via steering wheel controls. I emailed the seller and he said it should work. Is this the correct connection for the CD Changer?

Ipod Interface Module

Thanks!

If you aren't sure, I would skip the whole thing altogether and switch to an aux in with a bluetooth adapter on the end of it. I would be hands free to say the least and gets you out of the annoyance of having to plug in the phone everytime you want to use it.

I have the same car and was told by t he BMW dealer and independent sound shops that the fiber optic system makes it impossible to use most anything but the dealer AUX Input..... I went that route - and it takes coding by the dealer even if you install it yourself unless you have the software and know-how.

Do your research - hate to see you ruin your whole system on bad advice.

After reading many post pertaining to this topic and Brendin, it sounds to me like he dry stuck a few people and hung around long enough to fatten his bank account after copying/improving on someone else idea. There are several systems out there that you can use and I am sure they will stand behind what they sale.
