Ipod audio settings change - Anyone else?

My Ride: 08 535i, Platinum Gray, Sport Pkg
Each time I start the car and want to use the iPod (I like the treble all th way up), I need to go to the iDrive, click to "treble" and turn the iDrive knob 1 click either way to achieve the sound I want....EACH TIME! Has anyone else had or solved this annoying problem? I've had the car 1 month. This does not hsppen with the radio or CD player. I've got he standard audio system. Thanks

Also, is the EQ set on your iPod? I've found it can mess up the sound quality in the car. Set the iPod to a flat setting.
