My Ride: 535d M Sport LCI 2008 Space Gray/Dark Blue Dakota
Thumbs up

Will be parting with my current e60 shortly......(Silver Grey 535d sport)
New toy ordered for March - 535d sport Space grey - lots more kit - undecided on interior.
Had amethyst Leather/black interior combo which was very smart contrast, looking at Natural brown and Dark Blue wher rest of trim and carpets is still black.
Anyone out there with pics......? Leather samples etc at dealers not terribly convincing

Have seen pics here of natural brown and it looked good with everything else black as you say. Here's the post:

Hope this helps.

As you may have guessed rather new to this forum stuff.......

Thanks for your input - Natural brown does look classy against the black interior/blue exterior....and I have seen a few pics on Dealer sites with Syrah Blue extended Individual(very similar to Dakota Dark Blue - i'm told by Dealer.)
Tough descision will - sit on it for a few days...

Cheers

I've seen Dark Blue. It looks like very dark purple. Nice actually.

What kind of trim are you looking at?

[font="Arial"]

Trim will be brushed Aluminium - to "lighten up" the overall look. (I have aluminium Cube trim in my current 535d)
I think I will go with the Dark Blue Dakota, a bold move from Amethyst (no longer available)
Have ordered the car with Sunroof also to bring a bit more light in.........

Some of the darker / wood trims look great but maybe not with Blue seats..!

March 1st Delivery - so as soon as I have it will post a few pictures.......

Thanks

Thanks for pic, looks the business............Alum trim the best for both Dark Blue & Natural Brown (personal taste of course) ........
Seems the Blue is fairly scarce at the moment, but I am going for it..!

I see you have the new sport auto box with paddles / - I have ordered the same after trying it out in different demo car at the dealer....(635d with M5 wheels... very smooth.....)

I have been led to believe the box defaults back to normal Auto from Sport mode if paddles are not used after a predetermined time.....is that right.....?
