Interior Illumination ??

Has anyone heard or seen how the new interior doors will be illuminated??! The earlier door design had the lower door panels (inside the storage areas) and behind the door pulls illuminated in the traditional orange lighting.

I can't figure out how they are doing it with the new door panel design....

Most likely similar to the 335 coupe.

I'm not sure about that. I've been trying to make out the door detail between the upper black part and the lower panel just above the armrests. In the previous design you could see the little detail of the light wells but not in the new design...

My Ride: F11 520d white, auto, professional sat-nav with internet, variable damper control, sports steering wheel, extended lighting, retractable tow bar, wing mirrors with dimming & folding, full electric seats with memory & lumber adjustment, etc.

Check out the new MINI R56 the lighting is behind the door pull it even toggles from orange to blue in five steps. This lighting is also above the seat belt in the b pillar and as in the E60 above in the forward overhead light area.
