My Ride: Collected Sept 2009 - BMW E90 M3, Silverstone II, Novillo Black leather, 19" M Double-Spoke alloys, High Beam Assist, Electronic Damper Control, Voice Control, PDC, USB, DAB, High Gloss Shadowline, Sliding armrest, Trim Finishing in aluminium grey.
Amethyst is not on your list....
Sapphire black, Amethyst leather and titanium silver trim.

2004 RX330 Lexus - crystal white - reliable, quiet, and the "beater" car for ski trips, hauling, etc.
1995 E34 540i 6 speed black/truffle interior/alpinemp3/XMradio/M5 alloys (Many tears...sold to a fellow Boston bimmer enthusiast!)
I had a chance to drive my friends 525xi, sapphire black with auburn -
the auburn interior is just beautiful - the pictures on the site here are very deceiving (i think auburn looks horrible in pictures, esp. with a flash)
for anyone planning on ordering a new e60 - find an auburn car to sit in before deciding on a color! I am a very conservative person and I can say that auburn is unique, and elegant -
just my two cents...

[/quote]I ordered Oriental Blue with Auburn interior. Should be ready next month. I was pleased with the real-world photos of the Auburn interior. The BMW configurator pix don't do it justice. I'm still eager to see the interior in person. I'm not sure about the black seat-backs. It's very sporty looking, though, and distinctive. It will draw lots of comments, I'm sure.

My dealerwas really discouraging me to take it just because of the BMW configurator pics. I took the risk and I'm now fully pleased. Having black carpets is an issue in the Netherlands and north of France where it rain half the year.

Since my car is Jet Black. The interior had to be black with the poplar trim. It looks awesome and rich.

why is it BMWNA does not give us the extra options to order the exterior color and interior colors that are avaliable elsewhere in the world. I read that the USA is BMW's biggest or one of the biggest market, so why not not use choose from all the colors instead of just 4 different interior colors and then telling us which exterior paint we can get them with and which we can't get them with? when building your own E90 3 series all paints and leathers can be combined as we wish, but not on the more expensive E60 5 series and E65/66 7 series? I was desperately searching for a post from this summer.
A guy from Italy posted some pics of his wifes (black?) car with white leather Individual interior.
The car had Styling 172 wheels.
This must be one of the best looking E60's I seen on this site.
