IMHO Auburn is the best. The simple distinctiveness of the Auburn leather seating and door surfaces with black carpet, dash, upper/lower door trim makes this selection one to beat

They should have contrasting door panel leather in each color choice.

I love the Auburn color as well and I will have to force BMW to get me a Titanium Silver 550i with Auburn leather interior. I especially like the contrast between the Auburn, light poplar and the black trim on the door (above picture). I saw a 330i at the dalership yesterday that looked gorgeous. It was blue outside though.

The Titanium Silver "only" comes with Black or light Gray interiors as a matter of course, but here, ordering it from Pentagon Car Sales in Germany, you can order any color combo you want. I really do not want the black interior since there's no contrast as in the picture above, and I agree with the light gray color thought - hard to keep clean.

Anyone out there thinks the Auburn inside/titanium gray outside would look bad? Has anyone seen that combo? The best in/out combo I've seen is the BMW Individual Carbon Black, with the Caramel colored interior

I ordered Oriental Blue with Auburn interior. Should be ready next month. I was pleased with the real-world photos of the Auburn interior. The BMW configurator pix don't do it justice. I'm still eager to see the interior in person. I'm not sure about the black seat-backs. It's very sporty looking, though, and distinctive. It will draw lots of comments, I'm sure.

Tit Grey and Grey leather for me.

Black is too dark, too hot, feels a little like a cave to me. However, I see that is the most popular interior color!

Edit: Oh yeah, I got the anthracite maple trim as well...little bit of a dark color but only in the trim.

why is it BMWNA does not give us the extra options to order the exterior color and interior colors that are avaliable elsewhere in the world. I read that the USA is BMW's biggest or one of the biggest market, so why not not use choose from all the colors instead of just 4 different interior colors and then telling us which exterior paint we can get them with and which we can't get them with? when building your own E90 3 series all paints and leathers can be combined as we wish, but not on the more expensive E60 5 series and E65/66 7 series? How does that make sence?

I'll tell you why...because for most of the US, ordering a car is what's known as a non-binding contract. That means if you order some wild BMW Individual colors and the car gets here and you decide that you made a HUGE mistake, the dealer is stuck trying to sell your eyesore and will probably lose big money on the deal to move it. No dealer will want to risk that situation. In most states, the consumer can order cars and place deposits all day long. But, those deposits are 100% refundable if you don't want the car in the end. Most dealers will only order cars that they are confident they can sell.

Also, I think ordering BMW Individual is like doing European Delivery: not all dealers know how to do it, some just are ignorant or uninterested to learn.

Aurbun is for da true playas!

Its the only color in N America that is 2 tone like BMW Individual - auburn for the leather surfaces and black for the dash.
