So I'm at the dealer today for my last free oil change, and upon waiting for the car to get in and out I decide to talk to the internet dept about leasing a new 528 or 535. She crunches some #s and I tell her I'll sleep on it and get back to her.
Afterall, I need to replace my M5tech front bumper (Trinity) because of some deep scuffs and a couple cracks, and I planned on getting a new bumper like the Mtech from Umnitza (since Trinity doesn't carry it yet). A few other maintenance items (new battery/ tranny flush/ sparks, etc) are making me think of throwing my dough at a new 5er.
Simultaneously, her and I both smell BBQ from outside and she says she thinks they're bbq'ing out back for all the execs in town. She asks if I'm hungry and I'm like 'hell yeah'! As we walk to the back I see my car has been finished with the oil change and is in the holding area. I glance over to my 5'er, admiring the clean lines and the sparkly 172s, allthewhile being led like the pied piper to this BBQ. However, I notice something odd.....
There's a giant gash on the lower part of the bumper that wasn't there when I brought her in. I walk over and am shocked, not only to find this 8" length scuff, but also that the bumper has a whole new crack in it!
My senses immediately shut down and BBQ is the farthest thing from my mind. I head back inside and find my SA and drag him outside to show him the damage. He stares in disbelief, kinda like "did WE really do that?"
Sensing his mood, I act proactively and tell him that he knows how much I pamper my car, washing it every week and fricking feeding it a bottle and changing it's diaper daily!
He knows me and agrees.
We head back inside and he talks to the SA Mgr who approaches me, saying' "I'm not sure that transporting your car from A to B then back to A could've done this, but I'll take your word for it and we'll go ahead and replace your front bumper". I tell him I appreciate it, and I'll schedule it for Monday to get my BRAND NEW OEM MTECH front bumper!
They stepped up to the plate, like they should, and I appreciate it.

You should see the porters who transport the car from point A to point B at Park Ave BMW. I have to make sure all personal items are out of the car before going to service there. Other then that Park Ave BMW is a spectacular place and the SA's are awesome.

I kinda figured it was a porter, but the tech that changed the oil said he moved the vehicle both times. I don't know, I'm just glad they stepped up and took responsibility.
